Section 608 Sign Task Force (Disbanded)

Purpose / Charge


A task force created to review and draft proposed amendments to Section 608, Signs, of the Lebanon Zoning Ordinance. 

Membership

The Task Force is to be comprised of the following:

City Staff
  • Planning & Zoning Director
  • Zoning Administrator
One representative from each of the following:  
  • City Council
  • Planning Board
  • Economic Vitality Exchange Committee
  • Heritage Commission
  • Pedestrian & Bicyclist Advisory Committee
Three Lebanon Business Owners, one to serve as a regular and two to serve as alternates: 

One representative from the following: 
  • Lebanon Chamber of Commerce.
  • Non-profit institution
Six residents who are not otherwise members of any of the City’s boards and committees and who are not business owners, three to serve as regular members and three to serve as alternates. 

Meetings


Six meetings of the Task Force are tentatively scheduled from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM on the following Tuesdays in the spring and fall of 2017:  

  • April 18th
  • May 9th
  • May 23rd
  • September 5th
  • September 19th
  • October 3rd
This schedule will allow City staff to prepare draft regulations over the summer for review by the Task Force in the fall. Additional meetings may be scheduled if needed.
