The following traffic advisories reflect current conditions as they are known. The listings below reflect construction work that can affect travel on city streets, sidewalks, and trails. Expect traffic delays or use an alternate route, if possible. Please obey construction signs and flaggers. Construction will be conducted in accordance with COVID-19 safety precautions.

Heater Road Sewer Pipe Replacement

  • Status: Intersection of Heater and Labombard Roads will be closed to traffic Wednesday, September 16 and Thursday, September 17 from 7:00am-7:00pm. There will be one way alternating traffic along Heater Road from 7:00am-7:00pm. Access to Labombard Road should be via North Labombard Road off Etna Road. Click here for detour route map.

Hillcrest Acres 

  • Status: Construction scheduled to go through November 2020 for Prospect St Ext, Skylark Road and a portion of Hillcrest Acres. Spring 2021: Hillcrest Acres and Ledge Lane. Spring 2022: Final paving scheduled.

Mascoma Street I-89 Bridge

  • Status: This is a NHDOT project. There will be intermittent, single lane closures until mid September.

Mechanic Street Paving (CSO 11, CSO 12)

  • Status:  Final paving and line striping of Mechanic Street is complete. Mascoma and Bomhower Streets, as well as Freeman, Ora, Myra and Avon Avenues: Final paving and line striping scheduled for Spring 2021.
