Mobile Crisis Unit

The Lebanon Police Department partners with West Central Behavioral Health to provide a Mobile Crisis Unit which helps greater assist individuals suffering from mental health issues, as well as with other social service-related issues.

A Mobile Crisis Unit is a community-based, face-to-face service that uses professional and peer intervention. A two-person Crisis Team will respond to calls of individuals in crisis or in need of social services. The team will then assess the needs of the individual and assist in resolving the situation with the least intrusive outcome. The goal of this partnership, between the Lebanon Police Department and West Central Behavioral Health, is to increase access to the appropriate support services and health care resources and improve communication between first responders and medical/mental health services.

Individuals seeking assistance can call/text the NH Rapid Response Access Point 24-hour line at 1-833-710-6477. In case of emergencies, individuals can call the Lebanon Police Department at 603-448-1212 or 911.
