Travel Tips and Airport Security

Passenger and baggage screening at the Lebanon Airport is conducted by Transportation Security Administration (TSA) officials.

Airport SecurityBaggage Restrictions:

  • Each ticketed passenger is allowed to check up to 3 pieces of baggage.
  • In addition, 1 piece of gate-checked baggage and 1 piece of personal property is allowed as well.
  • It is recommended to allow at least 60 minutes for check-in and security at LEB if flying with baggage.

Additional Travel Tips

TSA asks travelers to stay alert and be aware of their surroundings at all times, as well as to be vigilant and report any suspicious person or package to local authorities or TSA personnel. Be prepared. Each time TSA searches a carry-on it slows down the line. Practicing 3-1-1 will ensure a faster and easier checkpoint experience. 3-01-01 is for short trips. If in doubt, put your liquids in checked luggage. Declare larger liquids.

Medications, baby formula and food, breast milk, and juice are allowed in reasonable quantities exceeding three ounces and are not required to be in the zip-top bag. Declare these items for inspection at the checkpoint. TSA works with airlines and airports to anticipate peak traffic and be ready for the traveling public.
