Beautification of Public Spaces
West Lebanon - Main Street Area
Interested in being part of Beautification of Public Spaces in West Lebanon? The city is launching a Beautification of Public Spaces Pilot Program to beautify some of the more visible spaces in West Lebanon along Main Street with planters at the intersection of Bridge Street and Main Street and whiskey barrel planters along Main Street. We are accepting donations for West Lebanon to offset the cost of the pilot program.
There are two levels of donations being accepted:
- Minimum of $750 (includes a sign that will be displayed along Main Street acknowledging your donation)
- Minimum of $120 (no sign included)
Please use the Beautification of Public Spaces - WEST LEBANON application to make your donation today!

Downtown - Colburn Park Area
UPDATE: 2023 is a success! We are no longer accepting donations or sponsorships for the Downtown - Colburn Park Area. Thank you to everyone who helps to make our City even more beautiful!
In 2022, the city launched a Beautification of Public Spaces Pilot Program to beautify some of our more visible public spaces. For the Pilot Program, we partnered with private and non-profit entities who donated or sponsored spaces to beautify. We are happy to announce that the Pilot Program was an unqualified success, and we are moving forward with beautifying our spaces again this year.
After discussion and review of our Pilot Program, this year’s islands will include mulch to deter weeds. We have added an additional area, the West Park Street traffic island, and connected water to it. This island will be maintained by the Lebanon Garden Club as in years past. We have also contracted with a local landscaping company, Premier Property Services, LLC, who will maintain islands that are not sponsored.
In future years, we hope to expand opportunities and branch out to other areas of the city to include more and different types of public spaces (designated road medians, leisure ways, parks, lawns around City buildings, et cetera).
Our goal is to have these islands populated with plants, flowers, or other features by June 1.
We look forward to working together as we continue to make Lebanon an even more beautiful place to live, work and visit.
