Whaleback Afterschool Program

Whaleback Afterschool - 2024

Are you ready to rip your turns and fly high on Whaleback's trails and terrain park? Participants must be able to ski or board blue terrain (intermediate) or sign up for Learn to Ski or Board lessons if needed. Helmets are mandatory. Lesson Registration must be done online with Whaleback. - Registration is coming soon!  Please contact the Whaleback Ski School Director at learning@whaleback.com for further questions about lessons and gear.

Elementary K - 4th Grade Option

  • Dates: Jan. 4 - Feb. 8
  • Days & Times: Thursdays from 4:15pm - 5:45pm. (90 minute lesson)
  • Parents/guardians must check participant(s) in and out and provide transportation to and from the program.
  • If renting equipment, participant(s) MUST come to a fit day PRIOR to the start of the program and pick up rentals prior to checking into lesson.

Lebanon Middle School Program Tuesday & Thursday additional TRANSPORTATION option provided by Lebanon Recreation.

  • TUESDAY PICK UP from LMS/Return to Lebanon City Hall & PROGRAM TIME: Tuesday 2:35pm pick up from LMS and Return 5:45-6:00pm to the Lower Parking Lot behind Lebanon City Hall (51 N. Park St Lebanon, NH) not far from the CCBA Sports Park.
  • TUESDAY Freeride Time Block: 3:15-5:00PM
  • TUESDAY Dates: Jan. 9 - Feb. 13 Sign up for transportation with Leb.Rec - Tuesday only


  • THURSDAY PICK UP from LMS/Return to Lebanon City Hall & PROGRAM TIME: Thursday 2:35pm pick up from LMS Return 6:00-6:15pm to the Lower Parking Lot behind Lebanon City Hall (51 N. Park St Lebanon, NH) not far from the CCBA Sports Park. 
  • THURSDAY LESSON Times: Tuesday 3:30 pm - 4:00pm. (60 minutes) Free ski/ride, following a lesson with friends in the program or a parent/guardian chaperone till 5:00PM. Must be blue or higher to free ski/ride.
  • THURSDAY Dates: Jan 4. - Feb. 15  Sign up for transportation with Leb.Rec - Thursday only


  • If you have rentals please be sure to grab your rentals 1st and then head to the lodge.
  • Parents/guardians must sign up for BOTH transportation dates if you are planning to attend on both Tuesday and Thursday with Recreation providing transportation. To sign up for your lessons with Whaleback Registration is coming soon!
  • 5th-8th grade students can sign up for transportation with Leb. Rec. for $30.00 for Tuesday and $35.00 for Thursday.  This secures your spot from Lebanon Middle School to Whaleback, and then a return trip to Lebanon City Hall.
  • If renting equipment, participant(s) MUST come to a fit day PRIOR to the start of the program.
