Lebanon Man Arrested for Criminal Threatening

Photo of Mark GallagherOn Friday, August 30, 2019, at approximately 8:50PM, the Lebanon Police Department responded to a multi-family residence on Hanover Street for a report that a male subject had threatened other residents with a hand-gun. Officers responded and spoke to the victims who stated that Mark E. Gallagher, age 49, of Hanover Street in Lebanon, had come out of his apartment holding a hand-gun and attempted to start an argument.

Responding officers located Gallagher in his apartment and determined that Gallagher did in fact confront the victims but that the hand-gun that was displayed was actually a pellet gun. Gallagher was subsequently arrested and charged with the Class B Felony charge of Criminal Threatening with a Deadly Weapon, and an outstanding Bench Warrant for failure to appear in court.

Gallagher was released on Personal Recognizance bail and is scheduled to be arraigned on September 16, 2019 in the Grafton County Superior Court.
