During the days of May 10 through May 12, 2018, Lebanon Police Lieutenant Matthew Isham took part in the Law Enforcement United Road to Hope and Ruff Ride bicycle ride. The Road to Hope ride is a memorial bicycle ride to “Honor the Fallen and Remember Our Survivors.” The Ruff Ride leg of the trip is to recognize fallen K9 partners that have died in the line of duty.
The Ruff Ride division of the Road to Hope ride spanned 184.5 miles from Cumberland, MD, to Washington, DC. This was Lieutenant Isham’s seventh year participating in the Road to Hope ride, and third year participating in the Ruff Ride.
The ride raised over $650,000 total for the Law Enforcement United organization, which supports the Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP) and C.O.P.S. Kids Camp, a summer camp for surviving children of law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty.
