1. Do I need a permit to camp at Boston Lot?

Yes, a permit is required to camp in the Boston Lot conservation area. Currently, the required forms cannot be completed online. Please email us at planning@lebanonnh.gov or visit the Planning & Development Office, Monday - Friday, 8 am. - 4 p.m. for more information. 2. Is hunting allowed in Lebanon?

Hunting in Lebanon - including in conservation lands and areas - is permitted in accordance to NH State law during designated hunting seasons unless prohibited by the posting of signs.

Please watch for posted signs and follow all state hunting laws.

3. Does the City have a Master Plan?

Yes, the City of Lebanon Master Plan was adopted by City Council in 2012. You can view the plan in its entirety and learn more about its implementation at LebanonNH.gov/MasterPlan. 

4. What triggers a site plan?

5. What is the cost for Site Plan or Subdivision?

6. How often does the Planning Board meet?

They meet twice a month, the second Monday of the month to review site plan applications and the fourth Monday for their Planning Session (please note if a holiday falls on a Monday then the meeting is moved to Tuesday). For complete details, view the Planning Board page.

7. How do I apply for a Site Plan, Subdivision, Boundary Line Adjustment, Voluntary Merger?

You can come into the Planning Office anytime Monday - Thursday, 7:00am - 5:00pm located at:

Pick up the applications and review them with staff or you can view and print the applications online from the Development Regulations page.

8. What is considered a wetland?

10. Do I need a state permit to fill in a wetland?

12. Who can tell me how my property is zoned?

The Planning and Zoning Office at phone number 603-448-1457, can help you determine the zoning of your property. You must know the physical location and legal description of your property, or you can view this information online through the GIS mapping tool, search your property by address or tax map and lot number, click on it and then change the property view theme to Zoning theme and the zoning district label will appear, but always feel free to verify this with someone in the Planning and Zoning office.
